Funded Childcare
- Subject to eligibility and Oxfordshire approval, the Nursery can offer the early years entitlements relevant to children within its admitted age range (2-5 years): the 15-hour Early Learning for 2-year-olds entitlement for eligible families receiving additional support; the universal 15-hour entitlement for 3- and 4-year-olds from the relevant term; and the working-parent entitlement of up to 30 hours for eligible children.
- Entitlements are offered over 38 weeks: up to 570 hours a year for a 15-hour entitlement and up to 1,140 hours a year for a 30-hour entitlement. Families do not have to use the full entitlement if they do not need it.
- A 15-hour pattern may be five half-days, two full days plus one half-day, or another agreed combination of continuous blocks totalling up to 15 hours. A 30-hour entitlement may be taken up to 30 hours across the same core week, normally using the same standard blocks. Session requests are subject to availability, staffing, ratios and balanced capacity. The Nursery will use reasonable endeavours to offer a practical pattern, but cannot guarantee every request for particular days or for all-morning/all-afternoon sessions.
- Families will not be required to purchase private hours to secure a funded pattern. Where a funded child attends a full 9:00am-3:00pm day, the lunch period is part of the continuous funded session. There is no privately charged lunch break.

Breakfast Club
*The £7 breakfast club charge covers the whole 8:00am-9:00am period, so the £4 early drop-off charge is not added on the same day. Breakfast club and early drop-off are optional and do not have to be purchased by a family using funded hours.

Place reservation deposit
There is no registration or administration fee. A returnable £100 place reservation deposit may be requested. For a child who takes up a funded place, any deposit paid is refunded in full no later than Oxfordshire's headcount date in that term. The Nursery will normally waive the deposit for a child taking up the Early Learning for 2-year-olds entitlement for families receiving additional support, and may reduce or waive it where requiring payment would create a genuine barrier to access. For wholly privately funded places, the deposit is normally credited against the first private-fee invoice after the child starts. The Parent Agreement explains cancellation arrangements.
- Extra funding and help with childcare costs:
Some children accessing funded early education may also attract additional funding for the setting, including Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) and Disability Access Fund (DAF). These are not charges to parents and do not reduce the child's funded hours. The Nursery will explain the Oxfordshire process and any information or nomination needed where relevant. Families can use the government Childcare Checker to explore funded childcare, Tax-Free Childcare, Universal Credit childcare and other support.
- Availability and admissions:
All session offers are subject to available places, statutory ratios, staffing, the Nursery's registered capacity and the Admissions and Inclusion Policy (4.6). The Nursery aims to provide flexibility that reflects parental demand as far as possible while maintaining a balanced and sustainable session pattern. A funded place will not be refused because a parent declines an optional paid service.
- Review and publication:
Private fees are normally reviewed annually, with at least one month's written notice of an increase. This schedule should be read alongside the Parent Agreement & Terms and Conditions and the Nursery's published 38-week term dates. The current version will be made available to families before they accept a place and published through the Nursery's public parent-information channels.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUB & HOLIDAY CLUB PROVISION
