OUTDOOR LEARNING

Nature is an extension of our learning environment.

Outdoor learning is an important part of everyday life at our nursery. Children regularly explore Wolvercote's beautiful green spaces, where they can investigate nature, enjoy physical activity and experience the changing seasons firsthand. Time outdoors encourages curiosity, confidence and wellbeing while helping children develop a lasting appreciation for the natural world.

INDEPENDENCE

Helping children grow with confidence, one step at a time.

We encourage every child to become confident, capable and independent by supporting them to make choices, solve problems and take part in everyday routines. By following each child's individual pace and celebrating every achievement, we help build the self-belief and resilience that form the foundations for lifelong learning.

Purposeful Play

Meaningful experiences that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.

Children learn best when they are actively engaged in meaningful, hands-on experiences. Through carefully planned activities, open-ended play and opportunities to explore their own interests, we nurture creativity, communication, problem-solving and a genuine enthusiasm for discovering the world around them.
